Is that baby chard or baby beet greens? Yum.
And, no, there’s no bay leaves in the Wendy’s sandwich. Fresh bay leaves have the texture of leaves, not greens.

My doctor (Doctor of Homeopathy) says it will probably kill you, because they didn’t dilute the Pretzel Salt enough. 10 more dilutions and it probably would have cured you of your high blood pressure.
That, friends, is comedy.
Maybe so, but Acey’ll never get it.
Yup it was spinach. Just like these. I didn’t recognize them at first but google image confirmed it. Spinach on a chicken sandwich is a good idea.
Bay leafhas a similar shape, but more pointy at the end. I thought of it first because I always use them in spaghetti sauce and on roasts.
They taste totally different as well.
ETA: Totally. Totally.
I actually like it. The pretzel bun has been a thing lately. The Sonic pretzel hotdog is terrible, though.
In my part of Ohio pretzel buns are sold at grocery stores. For example, the Meijer bakery section has hamburger and hotdog buns. I also noticed their regular packaged bread section now has a shelf spot for pretzel buns- I didn’t see any. Maybe they were sold out.
I like the pub chicken sandwich.
I haven’t tried a pretzel bun with a burger.
Heh. Yep, why offer people what they apparently want?
Meanwhile, with me being a big fan of what used to be the humble “Bacon Mushroom Melt” from way back when it was first introduced, I think, in the early ‘90s, I’m rather disappointed with the clears throat, adjusts monocle, and lifts nose “Bacon Portabella Melt on Brioche” sniff. The “brioche” has nothing on plain ol’ Wendy’s buns, IMO.
Bah. Way back in the 80s or 90s, Wendy’s used to have a chicken cordon bleu that I’d kill to see return.
