Hot damn, I was right! I know I was really working the “lynch Rubystreak” theme, but I still wasn’t 100% sure if she was a townie who was really bad at the game, or a werewolf who was really good at it. Well played, Ruby!
Has the everyone been eaten? Long time since last post, so I thought I’d shoot this to the top and order all townies a round of drinks as we wait the night out.
We don’t know! sob
I’m sure we’ll find out soon. pats jsgoddess reassuringly on the shoulder
For all we know, I might not even have a shoulder!
And I might not have a hand to pat with.
*Another day of celebration for the townspeople! But alas… rather than anger, the werewolves have turned to an even greater horror; children’s stories. Flour from the old windmill is mysteriously red and crunchy… it appears they’ve ground Miller’s bones to make their bread. *
It is Day Four.
Miller has been eaten, and many loaves made from his corpse. Yummy. Only four days then, so voting will end at 6:00pm my time on Friday.
Are we to assume that Miller was a simple townsman?
Drat. Knew i’d forgotten something. Yes, Miller was a Townperson.
Damn. You will be missed.
I’m guessing this was a basic revenge killing. Well, with some gory details added. Yeesh.
farewell Miller
not even enough left to wander around as a zombie.
OTOH at least it was just a townsperson they got. And that motive looks pretty obvious. When is this ‘day’ ending this time?
:smack: ignore that last question. It’s not my day today…
Wait a minute…nobody told us they were *GIANT *werewolves!!!
Rest in Peace, Miller.
I guess it’s no surprise, since Rubystreak really really really wanted Miller dead.
And I wondered why the bread seemed so protein-y.
Okay, since Rubystreak deliberately called attention to her voting “strategy” then abandoned it to keep her vote for Miller, was she trying to avoid voting for someone with fewer posts–perhaps a werewolf?
So of the four people I talked about in my last “suspicions” post (Rubystreak, jsgoddess, WinstonSmith, and Miller) ,two of them are dead now. At least I voted to lynch the one that was a werewolf.
Right now, I’m inclined to vote for WinstonSmith. He’s posted a lot, but has studiously avoided providing any content for us. Even when he’s been accused, his responses have been limited to “I’m not a werewolf.” The first day, he jumped on the jsgoddess bandwagon immediately after Menocchio did. The second day, he cast the first vote for the late and lamented moonstarssun. That second vote was changed to Wanderers, and then to Miller - assuming Wanderes is actually a Mason, all three of them were town. The only strategic thinking I’ve seen him post is this, which looks to me like a warning to the other wolves to keep quiet.
OK… in going through the thread one more time to compile this post, I’ve made up my mind. Lynch Winston Smith!
I voted for him twice, both times based on gut reactions. And both times everyone else’s gut reaction led them to pick out a werewolf. I’m beginning to feel like I’m the worst player this game has ever seen.
Richard Parker made me suspicious on Day 2. It’s hard to recapture the feeling I had then.
I haven’t really changed my opinion since yesterday, which is that both Winston Smith and CometotheDarkSide are suspicious. Indeed, I mistakenly thought I had voted for Winston yesterday. Lynch Winston.
rubystreak, confirmed wolf though we should lynch lurkers suggesting
Miller and moonstarsun are both now confirmed as town (RIP). The only remaining person alive in the list is Richard Parker. Whether he is also town or not would depend on how sneaky ruby was, but i thought it worth mentioning for people to mull over.
jsgoddess then immediately said she had her eye on Miller - perhaps she was supporting a fellow wolf, but then again perhaps not. (she went on to vote for him the next day)
Anyway after a mammoth reread of the entire thread, i am going to vote jsgoddess
and i also want to draw attention to Kat, whom I believe to be dodgy as hell
oh and Winston has also raised more than one ping on my scumdar, so i’m not unhappy to see suspicion heading his way as it is.
**Kat **did play somewhat key roles in the lynching of both **Menocchio **and Rubystreak, if I’m not mistaken (and it’s a long thread, so that’s possible). Neither of these facts guarantees her townhood, but the timing of the votes, and the fact that she did so twice, suggest town to me. On the other hand, I was wrong about Rubystreak, so maybe I’m wrong here too.
