Sure. And there’s nothing wrong with being on a bandwagon or not being on one. It’s just that we have three people to choose from and need to choose one.
If we’re wrong, the wolves get to kill another of the known townies, and we need to lynch an unknown again tomorrow. If we’re wrong again, the wolves get to kill yet another of the known townies, and we need to lynch the third unknown.
It would be nice to guess right early just so this doesn’t stretch out forever when the conclusion is pretty darned inevitable. And it’s always nice not to lynch a townie!
There’s really not enough there to make a good decision on from either unfinished symphonyorCaptain Carrot. However, there’s much much less from unfinished symphony. Plus the hit on Richard Parker, which I mentioned previously.
So, I’ll bite the bullet and lynch unfinished symphony.
**Kat **posted this yesterday, while we were still waiting for the timer to run out on dnooman:
I understand about thinking ahead and all that ,but this post at that time struck me as rather…bloodthirsty. It’s as if she *knew *we would have another lynching, and was tryig to make sure suspicion stayed on certain players. I had previously had Kat on my “probably town” list, but this got me to wondering.
I am also very curious why the werewolves (I hope there’s not more than one left) didn’t eat one of the Masons. I was certain one of us would wake up dead this morning. Can anyone explain that?
That was posted mainly in response to Richard Parker’s questions in the opening post for the day:
I had originally not been going to bring it up until everyone had voted, but then I realized I might not be back in the thread until after the Day ended and wanted to get my suspicions voiced in case Richard was right. (Although I was thinking along jsgoddess’s lines–unfinished symphony, Captain Carrot and I are the least likely to be eaten, but you never know. I wouldn’t have pegged Richard Parker at being tops on the list, either.)
In following the idea that i’m not going to say how many werewolves there are, I will use the plural no matter how many wolves there are left. Don’t consider it to be me saying there’s more than one left, or that there isn’t more than one left.
ok, from what Kat said, i really feel now that Richard Parker’s death was to put me under suspicion. Now, maybe this is just defensive thinking (as this is the first time i’ve been properly fingered and am new to the experience) but I feel that Kat really wants to draw attention to the fact that Richard wanted to lynch either dnooman or me. Also, i realize the odds aren’t that favourable, but pointing it out seems to excuse herself for lynching town, in a ‘well, the odds were against it anyway’ way.
But on the other hand, if it was Kat’s plan, i would’ve thought she might wait for someone else to notice? Have a sneaky feeling that Carrot could be sat back smiling at it all. If i retaliate by voting Kat, it could be playing into his hands.
I’m sure that’s very comforting for the one(s) of them who happen to be townsfolk.
dnooman tripped my suspicions of Kat with the post where he admitted being a werewolf - he correctly identified the three Masons, and then threw Kat in as “an alternate.” I’m wondering if that was a subtle attempt to throw us off her scent.
Re: OAOW
Well, yeah, we know that. The only argument is over the order. Naturally, nobody wants to go first: the townie(s?) don’t want to leave the game, even though the town pretty much can’t lose at this point, and don’t want to risk letting the wolves lessen their disadvantage; the wolf/wolves don’t want to lose.
and if this were real life then number of survivors would matter a whole lot more ot me. The fact that town is now guaranteed a win (this is the case isn’t it) is all i care about now. Even if i get snarfed, that’s still the case.
come on guys! Get your votes in. the sooner we cleanse this town of it’s flea ridden individuals, the sooner we can move on to a new town and start all over again!
I vote to lynch Kat. She raised my suspicions yesterday, and added to them today by voting for unfinished symphony only after **OAOW **started the ball rolling.
Pretty thin, I know, but it’s all I’ve got at the moment.
