If it’s ok to link to a conservative bashing game, then surely it is also ok to link to this fun and compelling little game, too:
Whack a Democrat
Self reported for title fix
Yeah, because a game that involves pretending to hit your political opponents has just as much place as a game that involves dispelling the lies of your political opponents on a messageboard dedicated to fighting ignorance. I’ve seen lamer attempts at equivalencies, but not many.
Meh, truth invaders is educational at least.
Bah, the gameplay in “Truth Invaders” sucks. This game is more fun. Who wouldn’t like to bop Hillary Clinton with a mallet?
On the contrary, I think it illustrates essential differences in liberal and conservative thought. There’s a time and place for careful discourse and debunking, and there’s also a time and place for brute force. We disagree mostly about the times and the places, and possibly the supremacy of one way or the other.
You think Clinton hatred is not a conservative thing? Seriously?
And don’t try to backpedal and claim that this is now for everyone. You admitted that it was a conservative game. We can’t help it that yours is about a childish desire to hurt people while ours is about trying to help people by fighting off lies.
And don’t say you weren’t taking it seriously, or you wouldn’t have gotten all butthurt about the other game.
I don’t generally want to hit anyone with a mallet and certainly not Hillary Clinton.
An adult.
When you promote a game as banal as this, Oakminster, do you spend any time at all worrying how it might make you look?
Next time one of the conservative posters here goes on about how conservatives think liberal ideas are bad, but liberals think conservatives are bad, I’m going to link to these two threads.
Hint: attacking statements with facts is nowhere near the same as attacking people, or simulations of them.
Not to people like you.
This is ridiculous. A fucking moderator links to a blatantly conservative bashing game in an otherwise non-political forum, and that’s perfectly ok. A conservative links to a liberal bashing game, and it’s some horrible thing. Hypocrites.
Ahhh, the smell of false equivocation.
Look, find a game that provides facts to rebut liberal positions or statements, then come back with that hypocrisy charge. Hurr-hurr-hit-em-on-the-head isn’t anywhere near the same thing.
Basically, you have responded to a detailed critique of Republicans with “Hit the hippie Democrats on the head-Hee Hee!!” This has nothing whatsoever to do with hypocrisy, and everything to do with your apparent inability to respond in kind.
Fighting ignorance and physical assault are the same thing, huh?
I can’t stand Hillary Clinton, but I don’t want to hit her with anything. Also, since “whack” has a meaning other than “hit with a mallet,” Oakminster might be in line for some Secret Service attention.
ROFLMAO. Yet the game Dex posted has bombs destroying the White House, and that’s ok. :D:D:D:D
Yeah, that’s really reaching, Kestrel.
I’m a Democrat and I’ll admit I’ve occasionally wanted to slap Joe Biden for some of the goofy things he’s said, or just Joe Lieberman for being a tool.
It was a joke, 'tone. I have no mole in the Whack-a-Whatever game.
