I saw it in NY on a passing pickup truck. 1/3 of the flag was the US flag, 1/3 was the Confederate flag. The other third is a mystery. Something blue and white.
The Bonnie Blue Flag?
Maybe a state flag. NY’s is dominantly blue but considering the Confederate piece, a Union state flag seems unlikely.
No, that wasn’t it. ETA: this is about the Blue Bonnie flag.
South Carolina?
It almost sounds like the Mississippi state flag, but not quite. I’ll keep looking.
I looked at this set of state flags, and it’s not any of those.
I think it was a custom flag. There seem to be grouping of confederate flags called mash-ups that cover everything from Clinton-Gore supporters to Sons of Confederate Vets. Most of them are 2 images, but I think you are probably looking for something like the 3 flags in this image “mashed”.
This is an example of a 3-part flag, but instead of the blue piece, they’re using the don’t tread on me snake. Is this similar in type to what you saw?
It wasn’t the blue line flag. Sunny Daze, yes, it was something like that, three parts blended together into a single flag.
It occurred to me that it might not be clear that I was trying to find out what the third portion of the flag was, not necessarily looking for an identical flag made up of those three blended flags. I thought there might be a blue and white flag that’s popular with the group of people who put Confederate flags on display.
Look up confederate battle flags. There were hundreds of them.
No, that isn’t it either. Maybe the truck will drive by again one day, and I’ll get a better look.
