Isn’t that great? It’s the most generic action movie idea you can imagine, but I do like that they specified HOW her ex-boyfriend tried to kill her, and specifically what body part “Harly” was shot in. In terms of understanding what the film is about, the phrase “by shooting her in the head” is wholly unnecessary, but they just had to get it in there.
The movie’s star, Stacie Randall, had a fifteen-year career in movies of absolutely delightful description. For instance, she also starred in “Demolition High,” basically “Die Hard in a high school but without a budget,” which starred Corey Haim, Alan Thicke, and in a marvel of against-type casting, Dick Van Patten as a general. The following year she had a role in “Evil Obsession,” which starred the other Corey, Feldman.
