What actually happens if you take a glug of Olive Oil each evening?

@aruvqan_myers Using it as a flavoring syrup for sparkling beverages is a great idea

I’d rather have a glug of glögg.

It’s a feature, not a bug.

When I was a kid, my dad’s swigs of my drink were always quite large. A swig is pretty bold; maybe start with a smidge?

What happens?
Popeye gets pissed.

I am not fond of bubbles, was not raised drinking soda but they liked it well enough, I get him half a gallon of syrup for Christmas every year now =)

Jeanne Calment, the oldest documented longest living person ever, was a consumer of olive oil

So, you gav him dehydrated maple syrup?

I like maple syrup as a sweetener in my tea.

105-year-old Jack Reynolds had “a whisky in his tea every morning and two shots of Grouse (scotch) in a glass with lemonade at night and swears by it”

Well, they’re both lubricants of a sort. And parts awkwardly seizing up is one of the common problems of old age.

It’s why I rely on WD-40 to keep my joints mobile.

I think a smidge would be too small to be therapeutic. Maybe start with a nip.

? Only dehydrated in the fact it is sap boiled down =)

All right: what volume of olive oil can one actually drink without ending up puking it all back up? Enquiring minds want to know.

That sounds like an experiment best determined by a TikTok challenge.
