What Anti-War Movie Was This?

Ages ago, I saw a movie which was made in the late 1960s that was an anti-Vietnam war spoof. In it, the hero manages to hijack an Air Force bomber with a bit of a misfit crew (the captain was a homophobe) and a couple of nuclear weapons. The hero doesn’t really know what to do, once he’s captured the plane and gotten the crew to arm the bomb, so they spend some time flying around, until he talks to LBJ. Then, after hearing about how much the war is costing the country, the hero decides to nuke Fort Knox.

No idea of who was in the cast.

That sounds like Wild in the Sky.

And I’d say you got it in one. Doesn’t seem to be out on video. Wonder why?

And a load of those writers: Hymie and Mr. Hollywood Squares.
