What are some good Christmas gifts from Wisconsin?

[Hijack coming] Without going into a long and probably boring story, do Milwaukeans refer to drinking fountains as “bubblers”? I thought that was only the case in New England or at least Eastern Massuchusetts.

If there is still a Farmers Market in Madison (I think the one on the square ends around October) then I would suggest you bring a snow shovel, some good winter outerwear, and be ready for the best in Sno-Cones! [Hijack over]

Yes, Milwaukeans refer to drinking fountains as “bubblers”. More here and here. As for the winter farmer’s market in Madison, it’s indoors.

One last post to this thread, I think I’ll be too sick for a while to be posting. Get some Culver’s ice cream topping in caramel and fudge. Have a good trip home.

The Plaza is selling their ‘Plaza Sauce’ in small containers. Bring home a pint or two of that.

I think I will be feeding the family for the whole next year based on all these suggestions.

I think Michael’s will ship frozen custard anywhere in the country, but I don’t know how much they charge for it.

I’ll second the Mustard Museum, Clasen’s, and Penzey’s. If you’re looking for non-food items, t-shirts and hats from someplace like the Great Dane would be good choices. You can also get some great Frank Lloyd Wright stuff at Monona Terrace.

Really, Wisconsin revolves around food and drink. Everything else is just an excuse to eat and/or drink.
