Halt and Catch Fire just ended, and it was good the entire way.
The Wild, Wild West - 5 seasons
A show that is still going, but will for sure be on a list like this someday : Better Call Saul.
I dunno, some of the last episodes were kinda weird.
^ Sorry, IMDb says only 4 seasons.
Sorry, Folks, but MASH** jumped Marine World.
Several times.
Yeah, I have to agree. MASH jumped a whole school of sharks when it became the Alan Alda show. So did My Name Is Earl. I really liked the first two or three seasons of Earl, but it definitely jumped.
I think Elementary has jumped the shark, as has The Blacklist. I used to like both shows a lot more than I do now.
For non-jumpers, I would add Justified. Terrific every season.
With an asterisk, I would also add The Americans. Unless something changes, they are only doing one more season, and the show is still terrific. I suppose the coming season could suck, or they could change their minds and make more seasons.
Rescue Me never jumped no shark.

Justified is IMO one of the underappreciated greats in television. The unexpected brilliance of Walter Goggins’s portrayal of Boyd Crowder, and the unexpected chemistry between him and Timothy Olyphant, led to what was supposed to be a one-off villain becoming the Joker to the protagonist’s Batman, an archnemesis that sometimes went offstage, but never very far or for very long. The show was equal parts moving and hilarious (seriously, I’ve never laughed so much at a cop show), and the story arc held up for six seasons, through the last minutes of the series finale. No shark jumping whatsoever.
The Wire. The Sopranos.
Deadwood
Six Feet Under
Prime Suspect (the original with Helen Mirren)
Justified
Friends
Frasier
ST:TOS
ST:TNG
ST: DS9
Seinfeld
My Name Is Earl
The West Wing
Downton Abbey
Each of these shows had some less-than-optimal episodes, but they never JTS as far as I’m concerned.
Nurse Jackie
The United States of Tara
Dead Like Me

The Rockford Files never jumped the shark, IMO.
Family guy and south park. Both shows are about 20 years old and both are still good quality.
I agree with this
Nurse jackie- being a total ripoff of House- started on the far side of a shark. But it’s not their fault- there have been another 3 shows based upon “brilliant but asshole medical professional with a drug problem”.
Some people think that the* Movie* for DLM jumped the shark.
My picks will probably be controversial, but I think:
**LOST
Battlestar Galactica**
never jumped the shark. I even like the finales to both, especially BSG.
I agree that MASH was still great in the end.
I wanted to post The Bob Newhart Show but waited til I could think of one more recent…like from this century.
NCIS, anyone mentioned that? never jumped.
Numb3rs
Futurama
