What are the classic MadTV sketches?

The one Darlene McBride song I remembered is Jesus Was Never a Jew.

For some reason my tablet isn’t playing nice with YouTube, but I’m a fan of ‘24 with Bobby Lee’.

Two come to mind (only have a dial-up connection, pardon if already posted):

Lou Diamond Phillips plays a priest attending to the ‘Vancome Lady’ in the hospital, with a surprise bit of improv

Michael McDonald laying on a beach in a tiny swastika-emblazoned Speedo - don’t remember the dialog, but what an unexpected image

I always liked Hey Mon, about the Hedleys, the hardest working Jamaican family.

that’s In Living Color, not Mad.

He looka like a man was always comedy gold to me.

My favorite is Steve Jobs unveiling the iRack.

I’m glad you mentioned this. If I had to pick a particular character that embodied MadTV it would have to be Miss Swan. The spoof Swan biopic was a great way to end the sketch before the character was played to death.

My favorites were always the video spoofs. Always seemed to be spot on, who can forget Shakira: MAD TV Shakira - Mo Collins - YouTube

or Britney: Mad TV: Britney Spears parody - "Lick My Baby Back Behind" - YouTube

Of course the alternate ending to The Wizard of Oz was classic!

nm, double

:smack: And it’s not like all the suggested videos weren’t In Living Color skits too.

When I’m feeling masochistic and want to further destroy my eyeballs I will enjoy Dixie, Dexter, and Poolboy.

Chest make-up never looked so beautiful.
