What are the last ten movies you downloaded?

Per this I am talking about legal downloads only of course.

Mine are:

*Das Boot
*The Silence Of The Lambs
*Capricorn One
*The Shining
*V for Vendetta
*Se7en
*Fight Club
*The Last Temptation of Christ
*The Usual Suspects
*To Kill A Mockingbird
The reason I have downloaded all these is cause believe it or not I’ve never seen any of them before (apart from from Fight Club, dunno why it’s there) and went down some best movies ever type list and picked ones I liked the sound of or had heard people rave about at some point, apart from Capricorn One which I have downloaded because of reading Bad Astronomy.

I have not actually got around to watching any of them yet as despite what my recent posting frequency may suggest, I am actually pretty busy atm.

How about you?

*Los Orfanatos
*Moonrise Kingdom
*Schindler’s List
*Mr. Brooks
*Mindhunters
*Jesus Henry Christ
*Europa Europa
*Nousukausi
*Ai No Mukidashi
*St. Trinian’s

Pending a definitive ruling on YouTube downloads.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
The Poughkeepsie Tapes
Antz
Muhammad: The Last Prophet
The Brave Little Toaster
The Thief and the Cobbler
1984
Double Indemnity
Charley Varrick
Odd Man Out

Why not just post the last 10 and keep where you got them to yourself? I realize that the “official” stance is *legally *downloaded but the mods aren’t going to show up at your door to see your receipts or make you email them in.

Moonrise Kingdom
13 Assassins
Sophie’s Choice
The Avengers
The Cabin in the Woods
Fish Tank
Barton Fink
Prometheus
Nuts
Good Bless America

Are you talking about streaming, like from Netflix? Or are there legal services that allow you download then watch later?

It would be better to discuss that sort of thing in another thread.

Never downloaded a film in my life. Never will either, I suspect, until I no longer have any choice in the matter.

It’s funny how glaringly obvious our world views are via the tiny slips of context.

Can’t remember 10, but the last 5 movies I saw not in theaters are:

Butter
Babymakers
Make Believe
Hunger Games
Just Friends

and I highly recommend Butter and Make Believe.

Assuming you don’t count streaming over Netflix (and I don’t), then I’ve never downloaded a movie. Why download when you can stream?

I’ve neither downloaded a movie nor streamed a movie. Once in a while I see a movie on DVD, but pretty rarely. Not because I don’t like movies – I do. I just don’t have time to watch them anymore. Exactly when downloading and streaming became popular, that’s when I stopped having blocks of free time long enough to watch movies.

But I’m afraid this is quite a hijack.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi (excellent)
The Five Year Engagement (awful)
2 Days in New York (unwatched)
The Cell (unwatched)
Faster (entertaining)
Unthinkable (unwatched)
Paprika (unwatched)
The Cell (unwatched)
How to Train Your Dragon (pretty good)
The Avengers (kickass!)

I loved Jiro Dreams of Sushi (I saw it in the theater). There should be more popular documentaries.

Right. If I really love a movie & want to have all the bells & whistles, I’ll buy the BluRay or DVD. Otherwise, I’ll just watch Netflix or cable…

Bamb…Oh wait. None.
