At about 2:12 in the track Duffy is singing “I’m begging you for mercy, why won’t you release me?” but there is also another track playing over the top in more of a fast spoken tone. I can get this much: “I rarely get more than I’m askin’ for but I just don’t want to waste my time”.
Any Duffy fans who can help me out? I’ve tried Googling but can’t find the answer.
