I read in a book (published originally in 1972) the following on a chart illustrating the size of the Universe:
“Ultimate horizons - objects travel at the speed of light”
What is/are the “ultimate horizon(s)”? Is that a specific thing, or just a generic name for the general boundaries of the Universe?
They probably mean the edge of the observable universe.
