What are things that are generally considered "sexy" that you find unsexy?

I find poor language usage in either sex a complete turn off. It smacks of ignorance and stupidity, both of which I am forced to deal with on a near-constant basis and neither of which I can stand.

As for looks, I’m not too picky, really. I’m all about the intelligence.

Tattoos on a hot chick are definitely a turn on. Count 1 for the “yes” vote for finding tats a turn on.

If you are talking about that weird “motor ass” turbo-speed shake that was made popular by rap videos and the like, then I completely agree. Strange and NOT sexy. I get distracted and can’t look away when a woman/girl does this; how is it possible??

Fake, Fake, Fake!
Fake Boobs, Nails, and Hair are all unappealing to me. I don’t like make up either.

One thing you guys have to understand is that Lingerie is for the women not for men. Women like wearing it and being in it. Sure I like seeing a woman in it but it doesn’t exclusively turn me on.

Those white-tipped nails. I can’t wait for that whole thing to go away. Not a big fan of long nails anyway. They just look so dangerous in intimate situations and make a person nearly useless in every day situations.

Tattoos. Another fad that can’t fade quick enough.

The pouty-face. I enjoy porn, but it is rife with pouty faces. That’s why I prefer porn from the 90s like Private, and amateur porn. Give me a genuine smile any time.

It’s not a fetish (well, not for me, and in most cases it isn’t) and it’s not about the clothing, either. It’s about the woman; the lingerie or whatever is just presentation.

IMO everything, anything, is more appealing in a harmonious context. The right lingerie on a woman can be mind-blowing. By the same token, the right tattered old jeans, or whatever. It’s not the clothing making her sexy; the sexiness is hers, and the right clothes just let you see it… just right.

There’s a difference between clothing that accentuates and frames a woman’s own natural appeal, and clothing that masks her features, tries to make her look like something else. I’m talking only about the first.

Also there’s a feedback effect. If I like her in skimpy thongs (shall we say), and she knows this, then putting on a thong makes her think about being sexy, about appealing to me. Then when I see her, that idea, and how she carries herself as a result, is sexy. And yadda yadda.

I don’t think this was mentioned yet: **fishnet **stockings.

Or *any *stockings, for that matter.
mmm

Mmm, I like a guy with a bit of a paunch.

Each woman has her own style which works best for her.
Some woman benefit from lingerie if it helps emphasise her strengths and conceal her ‘weaknesses’. Some woman look awkward and embrassed in lingerie.

Some women benefit from tattoos if it helps her achieve a certain ‘look’ whereas most women look best with uninked skin.

Most woman look better, cleaner and sexier when they remove the hair around their genitalia, but if they are short, flat chested and youthful-looking, removing it would be torpedoing their only noticable indicator of puberty and thus their chances with anyone but Gary Glitter. :smack:

The only thing we should all agree on is that duckfaces are as sexy as drying paint.

Amen!

Also lesbians. For the life of me I just don’t get it.

If you are a gay woman, you’ll understand.

Well, for me at least that “look” they’re achieving is . . . not a polite term.

Nope. Just saying all these folks with tats and piercings today with smooth taut skin won’t have that look 30 years from now.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I don’t get why straight dudes are so turned on by lesbians. I can definitely see why it would get a lesbian woman going, though.

Ah. Well, I expect you’re right, for most of them anyway. But very few of us, inked or not, will have our “look” in thirty years.

Garter belts have never done a thing for me.

I’m also turned off by fake boobs and shaved snatches - that whole porno look basically. I like a natural look.

That ubiquitous hair-do that women tend to get when they hit around 35 or so, I call it the “Hairstylist’s Hairstyle” because it seems like every damn woman hair stylist has some version of this “do”. The best way I can describe it is short everywhere, with the front bangs and middle of the hair cut straight at about a couple inches length. Then the hair in the back of the head is all ruffled and curled up, but still short. Sometimes it’s not exactly curly, but just wavy and bouncy but always shorter in the back and “done up” in some fashion. Blecchh…No thanks. :dubious:

It used to be a common meme that an angry woman was more attractive. I never got that. Maybe it made sense when women were more pressured to act aloof and repressed?

I second the bafflement for the attraction so many straight males have for a pair of lesbians. As a straight male, my reaction is: move on pal, no need for you here.

Yeah, that whole thing really confuses me too

It allows a guy to imagine a girl getting turned on without having to compete or compare with another guy.
