Well, the growler is toast.
My second sugar-free Rockst*r energy drink of the day.
It is Saturday and it is 2:30 Arizona time. I’d say it is time for a beer after a bad week at work. I think a Four Peaks Kilt Lifter should work!

Can after can of Nati Ice.
A can of Diet Dr Pepper, one of a handful of diet soft drinks that does not taste awful.
A two liter Diet Pepsi. Beverage of champions.
Bowes Double Dry Beer.
Some microbrewery beer which is half the price of the regular beer and just as good if not better.
Cold water
Water & New Glarus Fat Squirrel Ale. I didn’t expect to like the beer, but it’s great.
As for pumpkin beers, I tend to love them but some are vile. The ones with actual pumpkin seem to be best.
Cup of tea (PG Tips) with milk and sugar.
Vodka gimlet, rocks. I save the good stuff for sipping, and enjoy my gimlet with a harsher, more middle-range vodka to offset the sweetness of the lime juice.
Right this minute, a Sazerac Rye Manhattan. It’s cocktail hour at Casa Silenus. My wife is sipping a Dirty Vodka Martini.
Water with lemon and lime. Then a nice Cabernet with dinner.
Anderson Valley’s Anniversary Imperial IPA.
PKNT (say “Picante”) Chilean cabernet. Good and cheapish.
A can of Java Monster. Not planning to sleep much tonight, want to clean a little this evening and watch some anime while waiting for the time change.
Closing in on 9am Sunday morning now, and we’re drinking some drip Lao coffee we picked up in a small supermarket in Vientiane. Mine’s black, no cream or sugar; the wife likes a Coffeemate in hers. Not bad, a little strong, which we like, but the coffee you find in Vietnam seems to be stronger and more flavorful. Can’t beat Vietnamese coffee.
Icy cold water out of an aluminum water bottle kept in the fridge. Had pizza and hot wings tonight, bringing on a RAGING thirst. I’ll not sleep well, having to get up and dispose of the excess water.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
