Pennsylvania Dutch Eggnog, which comes infused with copious amounts of rum, brandy, and whiskey.
That sounds awfully good.
Starbucks breakfast blend again right now. But I should mention it will be copious quantites of microbrewed beer tonight at Tawandang German Brewery. Today (Sunday) is Loy Krathong, not an official holiday but wideley celebrated nonetheless. In recent years, they’ve started calling it the Thai Valentine’s Day, which is a bit silly, as the real Valentine’s Day is celebrated with gusto every February 14. I doubt Tawandang will do much for it though, as you need a large body of water, such as a lake or a river, but the river is always too crowded and doesn’t have beer anyway.
Gin and Sprite. Has anyone else tried this? We’ve been experimenting with different gin mixers. Gine and Schweppes lemon soda was good. The wife tonight suggested trying Sprite. A little sweet but not bad. (The Sprite in Thailand is sweeter than in the US, I’ve noticed.)
Had some horchata tonight.
A must from juniper berries. Quite good.
Leopold Brothers Rocky Mountain Peach Whiskey
I’m drinking really strong Cafe du Monde coffee with a splash of whole milk. Unfortunately, I cleaned out my coffee maker with vinegar last night and I don’t think I rinsed enough. I ran clean water through three times after the vinegar solution, but it just tastes…off. Of course, that type of coffee is ridiculously strong and I didn’t have enough time to put enough milk in it, so it could be that, too.
Seltzer
4 dollar a bottle red table wine.
Guinness 250th Anniversary Stout.
