Brussels sprouts.
I mean, it’s Halloween, we’re supposed to scare them, right?
Why’s everyone looking at me like that?
In eight years we have never had a trick or treater knock at our door.
More M&M’s for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Psychoses, as well as the resultant years of therapy.
Actually, I’m not even turning the light on. I guess I’m turning into an old curmudgeon in my years.
It’s my candy! Mine, mine! All MINE, I tell you!
‘Fun-size’ chocolate bars: Snickers, Twix, Mars, Coffee Crisp (if I don’t eat them all), Kit-Kat, Wunderbar, Aero, and Caramilk.
I also will give out a little plastic toy to each child that comes, thus being my control. I bought 60 - I should expect that I won’t go through them all.

**Nuthin, I put a sign on the door that says ‘Go Next Door For Candy’ with an arrow pointing to my neighbor’s. works perfectly. **
Sounds like a winner to me. I’ve done the same kind of thing for years.
So, it’s dark and the kids are out in full force here… and I have this mental image of Rue wearing a “kiss the Cook” apron and a wolf head grilling weenies in his driveway… Oh what I’d give for a photo!!
Trick or treating is over now. The Wife and I are going through the girls’ loot to pick out the things we like.
We leave a bowl on the front step since we both go out with the girls. One of these years we will fill the bowl before we go out.
Chocolate covered espresso beans.
There’ll be no sleeping around these parts tonight!
Kit Kat, Milk Duds, Sixlets, Tootsie rolls, and Bubble gum assortment.
No trick or treating here, but I gave out Hersheys Kisses and chocolate “gold” coins to the kiddies (and kept the candy corns the school provided for myself) and an assortment of cheapo cand to my adult students (thank you 100 yen store!). Last night my costume was a yakitori vendor, so I picked up a bag full of yakitori to hand out.
beernuts
beernuts and porkrinds
We gave out snickers and kitkats and butterfingers.
Our next door neighbor gave out toothbrushes…I found 7 of them on my yard this morning…
