OK, fine, I’m recovering from hernia surgery and the swelling is still high. I can’t bear to put on slacks or I’m in a lot of pain, so I have PJs on and I stay behind my desk as much as possible. I could get used to this!

Agree. I also think that if you buy inexpensive clothing in black or dark grey, it looks more expensive.
Brown cotton multi-printed cotton longsleeved top (Christmas present, about $30). Gray leggings (Family Dollar Store, $6). Lustrous soft cream wool Irish knit cardigan with leather buttons ($200).

I work from home, too, but I dashed into town today for coffee with friends. Long black skirt, tights, lace-up calf boots, olive-colored 3/4 sleeve v-neck t-shirt style top and a decorative black “scarf” that isn’t a scarf at all, just a long loose knitted ropey thing around my neck I secured with a brass colored pin just above navel height. And makeup. Because fashion.
At work today: jeans, black tights, black boots, moss-colored thin knit sweater, navy enamel and silver earrings, ruby and silver ring, crystal and silver ring, Skagen watch.
Now: red wool socks, black yoga capri pants, The Strand t-shirt, Cuffy’s Cape Cod sweatshirt.
Just got home. Work day ran a bit long. Navy with light blue/grey pinstripe suit, ivory shirt in herringbone pattern, blue/grey necktie, navy socks, black Bostonian shoes, Jorg Grey 6500 watch (Presidential commemorative edition).
Super skinny black jeans, light gray cashmere sweater, gray leg warmers, black boots, gray vest and a gray scarf.
And today…uniform AGAIN!!
