Once again, the other songs I wanted to nominate were already picked. I know no matter when you start these threads someone will be at a disadvantage, but maybe we could stagger the start times instead of always starting them at 4am in my time zone and effectively giving the people on the east coast a head start.
I think of the regular posters to mmm’s letter threads, I have the biggest advantage because it’s always in the early afternoon here when the threads start, when I’m usually sitting in front of my laptop and browse the dope. I think for the last three threads, I was the first responder.

Heh. Because my lists are so long, I’d rather do my nomination later to let others winnow down my list by selecting some of the items on it. But if I wait too long I miss the nomination window.
Yeah me too. I liked having Rocketman and Ring of Fire and Rain already picked. It opened up slots for me.
For me, ‘R’ is a particularly rich letter for songs. I still have 20+ non-nominated songs on my list, with at least 5 that will be 
if they aren’t suggested by someone before we close this one out.

Yeah, I’ve noticed other people seem to have more extensive musical knowledge than I do. For me, when the songs I had already thought of have already been picked, I struggle to come up with alternates. And very often my nominees end up breaking down to “The only five songs in WildaBeast’s music collection that start with the current letter that haven’t been mentioned yet”, rather than my actual favorite songs.
