What are your pets called

Judo is our 18-week-old Rhodesian Ridgeback.

My two cats are Ninja and Pixel.

One canine named Dog.

One canine named Dog.

A black lab named Bo - we didn’t name him, he had that name for 5 years before we got him.
A gray and white short haired cat named Galadriel, but we call her Kitty
A gray and white short haired cat named Shadowfax, but we call him kitten.
A female guinea pig named Princess Fiona
A male guinea pig named Prince Caspian
4 hermit crabs - Princess Buttercup, Aloha, Sleeping Beauty, and Prince Humperdink,
and a bunch of fish, all of which have names from Spogebob squarepants (my daughter’s current favorite) but they always change because she can’t remember which is which.

Dog: Gregory
2 cats: Carl and Barbara
Pigeon: Walter
2 Hamsters: Maude and Alexander
2 Turtles: Karl and Babs (interestingly, the cats often get confused when we call the turtles. Go figure.)
Spotted Hyena: Robert

As you can see, I don’t believe in encumbering my pets with silly, cutesy monikers. Animals deserve our respect, dad-burn-it!

Sincerely,
Tibbycat (aka Mr.Tibbs)

Shih Tzu: Jake

I have a parakeet named Volleyball.

We’ve got quite a list…I will include a few sheep that I don’t consider pets but do consider “lifers” of my flock…

The Border Collies (6):

Leary (F), also known as Leary-Monster or just… “The LM”.

Rhett (F), tough cow dog with a heart of gold

Nellie The Elephant- she never quits- hardest working dog I own and sweetheart to boot. In times of extreme cheesyness- she is “Nelly-Belly”

Jane- named after THE Jane- she’s got issues.

Bess- Named after Elizabeth I - she’s a pup with big shoes to fill

Brice- Mike’s pup- also known as “Pee-Pee boy” for reasons my carpet can show you.

The Non-Border Collies (Mike’s Dogs):

Grendel- happy Doberman

Wyatt- Can’t mention what I usually call him- he’s a very mean heeler that my boyfriend picked up at dog training school. He spends alot of time shadowing me and then trying to bite me when I accidently step on him.

The Cats:

Wily- also known as “One-Eyed Wily”. He had a goofy eye, and we called him that since he was a kitten and then about 3 years ago the eye had be removed.- DSH tabby

Milton- the new kitten- DLH tabby and also known as “Chunka”.

Recently lost Mojo :(- the most gorgeous grey tabby/white cat. AKA Mojo-Jo Jo (he was also a little evil monkey) or “Joe-Man”.

The Sheep:

Timex- remarkable ewe who was attacked by a pack of dogs and then the next day attacked AGAIN and managed to live (takes a licking and keeps on ticking)

Gretchen- the brain of my flock and occasionally called “the dog smasher”.

Two cats: Trixie (lil’ girl) and Mel (lil’ boy)

Fish (Zebra Danio): Rage Cage
Rats: Bettina, Lola, and Cookie
Lizards (2 green anoles and 1 brown): Byron, Audrey and Toby
Cat: Emma

All cats here:
Kabuki Sagwa (Daughter calls her Kabuki, but I think she looks like the cat on Sagwa)
Moira (daughter thought this one up, but I call her Lil Hitler. She has a white face with a little black mustache)
Noriko Puppy Face (as a kit she looked like a pit bull puppy)
Meester Wheesker (when he was a kitten he was solid black with one white whisker. Not anymore but the name stuck)
Grayboy Gris (because he’s a gray cat in two languages!)
Chopper Chopstick (my daughter strikes again)
Romeo (because he has that look in his eyes of a tortured lover)

Wish I had pictures to share!

The menagerie…

Little girl, Bear, and Charlie the ferrets.

Oscar the female Cocketeil (looks like a male but likes to lay eggs)

A cat the wife calls Hobbes… my name is only suited for the Pit

and an unnamed tortoise… we’ve had him for three years now and a lack of a name has never been a hinderance

That’s some cathouse! Sorry, couldn’t help…

12 year old gray male cat - Marty. Sometimes called Boo, for the tendency when he was younger to pop out and surprise the other cats.
5 year old pewter female cat - Scarlett.
And 7 week old orange kitten - Cuervo. Because he’s that same color as the gold, and he’ll kick your ass.

Bill the Cat - (Billboy) - tuxedo male

Both are named after witches.

…and no, my user name has nothing to do with tha fact that I own Labs - totally different meaning!
