What are your pets called

That guy who sits on the computer when he’s not eating, working or sleeping:
Dan

We have two dogs. There’s a twelve-year-old Gordon Setter named Lucy, and a four-month-old English Springer Spaniel named Maggie.

My youngest brother has two hamsters, Derek and Domino. I think they’ve had babies, but I’m not sure how that situation stands. He may also have a fish, last I knew there was one named Bob.

3 cats. Sam, Sara and Joseph.

1 Bichon Frise, named Spunky.

Called Spunky, Spunkmeister, Spunksaroni, Spunky-Monkey, Monkey, Monkey Noodle, Noodle Moo, Moodle Boy, Muppet, Muppy Dog and Bubby.

Grace, 15-year-old standard-issue three-color Middle-Eastern ally-cat. Also known as Gracie, Princess Graciotchka Meow-Meow Gur-Gur VII, Pitzi, Pustema and Sharmuta. Body like a leopard, face like an Egyptian goddess, brains like a brick.

We have a dog named Mia. However, she is often referred to as Princess (she sure acts like one), Diablita (translation- Little Devil in Spanish), or any other variety of pet (no pun intended) names.

Two cats.

Plain old tabby with unfortunate Pokemon name. Meowth.

Black and white with pink nose. Zorro. Well that’s his official name also called PNF or pink nosed freak.

I hate cats so my mum’s dog is the current doggie presence in my life. She’s an Airedale called Kate. Stupid but very cute.

**Samera ** - 9 year old Golden Retriever

Sebastian - 6 year old long hair silver tabby
Sabrina - 4 year old long hair grey (looks like a russian blue)
**Loki ** - 3 month old white/orange maine coon

And in memory of:
Chauncey - 22 year old DSH grey/white
**Anubis ** - 11 year old long hair black cat

Mud - tortie DSH. AKA “Your Majesty”, “HyperKitty”, “Four-legged Daughter”, “My Daughter”*, “YOUR Daughter”**, “Godzilla Kitty”, “Dammit Cat!”, “Wump Kitty”, “Purr Monster”, “Meatloaf”, “Cat from Hell”, “Toe Slayer”.

Zeus - grey cockatiel. Female, lays eggs, name stuck. AKA “Two-winged Daughter”.

  • said to former(Roommate) when cat was being quiet and cute.
** said to former(Roommate) when the cat was being a helion - "YOUR Daughter is <insert random act of destruction here>.

We have four cats, Powder, Majyk, Merlin and Boo; plus the turtles, Zippy and Speedbump.

Fizzgig (AKA Fizzy): Domestic long hair tortoiseshell cat who, like her namesake, was a merely ball of fur with eyes when I first got her.

Spider (AKA Spiderwoman): Black domestic short hair cat.

Arnie - 14 yr. old Jack Russellish mongrel - also known as Arnold Sportsknickers. He has cataracts [needs reading glasses according to the vet] and is on heart medication for leaky heart valves …old age is catching up on him… so he spends most of his time sleeping, or on the table beside my computer, looking out the window - but I think he’s the most adorable dog in the world.

Dylan - 2 yr. old Jack Russell/Border collie - also known as Superdog, as he can leap the hallway in a single bound - almost knocking himself out against the front door.

Three cats:

  • 5 year old, female, red (orange) persian named “Tabytha”. Answers better to “Meep”, because that’s the sound she makes instead of meow. Also known as “Scardy-Cat”, 'cause that’s what she is. On the smallish side. Very needy and high-strung. Coasts by on her looks.

  • 10 week old, male, orange, orphaned barn kittens Sam and Max. (The mother tangled with a racoon when they were a few weeks old, and lost.) Both very sweet and lots of trouble, as to be expected. Sam is short haired and has huge feet and ears - he’ll be massive once he grows up and gets past the gangly stage. Max is medium haired, smaller, and much more evil. He also has a bizarre licking fetish.

At least all of the cat fur on the couch will match.

One lizard:

  • 4 year old, male (I think), bearded dragon named “Darwin”. More often called “Mr. Lizard”, or “Fuzzy Lizard” because he’s fuzzy-natured despite not being fuzzy-furred. Loves to snuggle. About 12 inches long. Standard dragon coloring (green patterned scales). Meep is terrified of him, the kittens would love to eat him.

Countless fish:

  • Unnamed.

Did anyone else try to guess the color of these cats before clicking on the links and get 4 for 4?

They’re all very cute, Hal.

My animals (both cats)
Dot, aka “Dottie,” “Dorthey,” and “The Good One”
Pixel, aka “Pixie,” “Pix,” “Purt” (that’s how she talks), “Nerd,” “Turd-brain,” “Slut-kitty,” “Ninja-kitty,” and “The Bad One”

Boyfriend’s Animals
dog Lucy, aka “Baby-dog,” “the Bog,” and “Lu-lu.”
cat Cornelius, aka “Corney,” “Buddy-cat,” and “Cornelius Rex”

Everybody is a girl (except the boy cat Cornelius) and gets called “Button” too.
(The boyfriend made up most of them, believe it or don’t)

My own personal pet is Attila the betta. Last week I lost Ghoti, another betta, to some mysterious fishy disease. Poor guy.

Household critters:

Isaac, a yellow lab.

Rusty, a very red-headed golden retriever. Often known as “Dumbass” or “Moron” or “Idiot.” He’s very sweet but very dumb. He also doesn’t care if we insult him.

Both dogs are about 3 1/2, I think, though since they were both rescues their ages were guessed at.

Also in the household, though more often outside the house than in, is Emily the perpetually pissed-off six-and-a-half-pound tortoiseshell kitty. She can chew you out better than any kitty I’ve ever heard.

Mwell, we have:

Spanky - a border collie/sheltie/bathmat cross

Valen - a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever

Zap - an Australian Shepherd

Check 'em out!

Ok, I lived on a gentleman’s farm most of my life (we have animals but don’t use them for farming purposes … in other words, pets!)

Tropical fish unnamed since the cat goes through so many
Chickens (about 50) … I can’t keep them straight

I call mine Dirty Harry.

And my dobegirl’s name is Silky
