That’s where the brains really hang out. 
Makes me wonder if any of us can still post on the very first thread on here…
There’ve been multiple times when I was going to start a new thread but then the auto-search function brought up a near-identical thread that I could just bump. So being able to bump old threads saves us many unnecessary redundant threads.
Side track –
I have once – once – had the autosearch do that. Generally it brings up a batch of threads that have nothing to do with the subject of the one I intended to start.

Recently I had a weird coincience thing (at least it was to me). I remember there was a thread where people posted coincidences. If I wanted to share my coincidence with the class, I could find the old thread and bump it, start a new one, or just keep it to myself (which is what I did (you’re welcome)). But, I think a thread like that could be bumped and people wouldn’t complain too much.
I find this sometimes. I’ll start to read newer posts & then I’ll see the original is from 2023. I’m in if there’s new information or interest, but as has been said, how are they being found and resurrected?
I’m pretty sure there are several of them. I think I posted the same coincidence in at least two.

We used to have a rule prohibiting thread bumping. We have since relaxed that rule, but we do ask that you have at least some sort of reason for bumping the thread. Please do not bump threads for no reason whatsoever (or boredom).
