What artist made these neat scenes?

A friend of mine was sent these in an email: we can’t figure out who made them or even what search terms to use to even start to look.

There are others, too, like guys working on a watermelon wedge, and road repair crews looking at a break in an eclair.

Anyone know who did these?

Your wish is my command!

They are the work of superb culinary photographers Akiko Ida And Pierre Javelle.

Forgot to say - My favourite is the Hazmat/Creme Brulee team!

Very, very cool ! I love stuff like this !

If you enjoy those, you may also enjoy a similar series of works by Allan Teger. WARNING: Contains artistic nudity.

Thanks!

My MIL got a link to some of those in the usual glurge she forwards to us. IIRC the link was to a Russian site. Thanks for the proper one!

I agree the creme brulee is best, maybe followed by the guys sawing on a big block/small crumb of chocolate. They’re all good though, including the ones under ‘Publications’ on the menu.

You’re welcome, and they really are just top-notch eh? I work in Food PR and (fingers & budget crossed) I’m going to commission these guys to work with Red King Crab and create something groovy for my clients. I’m imagining a Sigourney Weaver/Aliens type idea if they’re open to it!

My grandma once told a story of having bought a new shirt for my uncle (her son) and taking him to church just to, after a few sniggers, realising that that wasn’t no ski slope the figures on the shirt were snowing down. Finally I have something to visualise for that story.

I hate this website with the fire of ten thousand suns.

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one having trouble navigating it. Among other things, don’t you hate websites that give you absolutely no clue as to their controls unless you mouse-over them?
