Did this pig receive a medal for conspicuous gallantry and a letter of appreciation from Parma?
Should it concern me that 75% of your SDMB posts are in this thread?
Let’s just say that those things have a higher blood supply than you’d think. Yes, he’d have had to come off, even if we hadn’t been playing with the blood rule.
He said that it “didn’t hurt as much as you’d think”. Whether this was the case or no, I’ve seen less yelling over a broken leg.
I’m not the outhalf in question, if that’s what you mean.
Good to see the back line archetype is alive and well.
What body parts grow back? Not nipples, right?
Why, did you bite one out ?
Hey, I just noticed this made Threadspotting, a few or so entries back. Sweet!
A friend of mine said her tonsils grew back - she had them removed at 5 or so but at age 18 was told by a doctor that she had a perfectly normal set of tonsils.
I have heard somthing along this line before - is it truth or myth?
Guys, I just tested it. Cut my nipple off and it grew back.
I can send pictures of my nipple as proof if you’d like.
If they couldn’t get all of the tissue out, then yea, what remained would be able to regenerate (tonsils mostly consist of aggregations of lymphocytes)
My wife has had her tonsils removed twice - once as a child, then again as an adult (along with a septum straightening procedure. Obviously, not all the tonsil was removed the first time.
Si
Apparently, very rarely there are people who grow multiple sets of teeth.. Resulting (we think) from mutation in the protein OSR2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OSR2_(gene)
Multiple sets of teeth sounds really useful… for zombies!
If they grow one ofter the other they are useful for most anyone; no more ending up with dentures in your old age.
That’s hilarious because this is an old thread and it appearing again has been equated with being an actual zombie.
Genius.
I can’t even make a zombie joke in my own thread? Sheesh, tough crowd.
Everyone in my family.
They irritate me.
If someone revives a thread we get half a page of zombie “jokes”.
If someone posts a thread with a question that has been asked before, they get sarcastic posts with links to previous discussions.
What’s the solution? Just stop people posting?
Don’t get your nipples in a twist?
Not sure if this counts, or how it fits with what we’ve learned so far, but I still return to see my sinus surgeon, 5+ yrs after surgery. He told me, pre surgery, that this would be required. Since it’s soft tissue, in a warm wet sinus cavity, it tends to want to ‘grow back’, his words.
ear wax, fingernail grit, toe jam, snot & eyelashes:rolleyes:
I saw what you did there
