What can I do with old prescription bottles?

I have a number of empty prescription bottles, and I wonder if they can be put to some use. I’m putting this in Cafe Society instead of MPSIMS because I’d like to do something creative with them, and this is where the handiworkers gather.

Maybe I could grow tiny little plants in them?

I knew someone who used them as shot glasses.

He was weird.

Make a necklace out of them.

Sell them on eBay?
Save them for 100 years?
Store safety pins in them?

I’ve heard of people storing their marijuana stash in there.

Yes, but I’ve only heard…

I use mine to store small craft items like sequins, beads, confetti and such.

Here are some other ideas:

[ul]
[li]Store newly dried herbs[/li][li]Keep one in the car to store change[/li][li]Decoupage them and make them into little gift tubes[/li][li]Spray the inside with nonstick spray and use them as cookie cutters[/li][li]Take an empty one when traveling and put the day’s jewelry in it overnight.[/li][li]Glue them together and make a desk organizer - some hold pencils and some have lids for paperclips and such[/li][/ul]

This was fun!

My friends do this. They also put papers and a pipe and its like a little pot kit.

Put a tall one over the end of your shotgun barrel to keep the dust out.

Wind chimes!!!

Some Protestants do this with those cheap plastic communion cups.

Christmas tree ornaments. You can decorate them all purty ‘n’ everything.

Back when I worked in an office, I used them to hold quarters for the vending machines – the narrower bottles are just the right size.

Glue little tiny sea-shells all over them.

Sorry I didn’t respond earlier!

Storing things. Yes, that sounds good. I’m already using one for such a purpose ;). Wind chimes? I hardly think they’d make enough noise!

Thanks to all!

Take the labels off with WD-40 and use them as Christmas lights.
