What can you do if a car alarm is going off and the owner isn't around? (need answer fast)

Man this things still going off? Stupid car alarms you think it’s finally stopped and it just kicks back in again. It’s been going off and on for over 6 years at this point.

Why would anyone have an audible car alarm nowadays anyway? Combination of an immobiliser and an alarm that triggers an email / SMS to the owner is going to be much more effective. Any audio warning should be extremely brief just for the purposes of indicating “car alarm has been triggered and owner has been contacted”.

Before I realised the age of this thread, it occurred to me that a suitable note on some (fake) NRA headed notepaper; possibly badly spelled, might prevent further problems.

Since this is getting more jokes than actual content for replies at this point, it’s probably best to put this poor zombie back in its grave. And speaking of graves, if the alarm hasn’t quit by now, I’m pretty sure the battery is dead, too.
