What can you do with 40lbs of lard?

I’ll second the sculpture. If it’s ten lords a leaping,an artistic family member should be able to scartch out a reasonable fascimile with an ordinary kitchen knife/spoon with lard at the proper temperature.

Depending on our mood you could go for risque/and or funny things the lords are leaping over.

If nobody has an artistic bent,I’ll bet your local high school or college would have some students that would love the chance to attempt it.

The beauty of the medium is you can always cook/melt a bad attempt down and try something else.

EagleEye I have been frying turkeys for many years now, but I always use peanut oil. It just seems to work better at high temperatures and can be reused more so than other oils. Now that I have a sufficient quantity of lard on hand, I might have to try that, though.

SC

well, nobody’s said this yet.

Thank you.

Oh, and by the way, in case people haven’t mentioned it enough yet: You, sir, are a freakin’ genius.

Spread it on the floor, put on a snow suit and make lard angels?

When will people realize?

Puns are unacceptable behaviour. There is never any excuse for them.

And prolonging them for 12 years must warrant some kind of government intervention. Does no-one care about the suffering his mother must be going through??? :frowning:
