What candies do you like?

I’m a hard candy fan, so where are my Jolly Ranchers?

I also indulge in salty licorice from time to time. Dubbel zout anyone?

This baffles me. Of course chocolate bars are candy. I’ve never heard of anybody making this distinction before.

I have a prodigious sweet tooth and could add more candies to this list all day. But the most glaring omission is Lifesavers.

Mike & Ike Hot Tamales
Jelly Beans
Junior Mints with my movie popcorn
Milk Duds

Walnettos suck.

Sour patch kids.

I voted for the vast majority of the list (because, c’mon, it’s candy). To the ones I voted for, I’d also add Sour Patch Kids, Lemonhead (and Orangehead), Goetze’s caramel creams, Reese’s Pieces, York Peppermint Patties, Zero Bars, Zagnuts, and Reese’s Crispy Crunchy Bars. And Milky Way Simply Caramel Bars.

My new fave, knocking Milky Way Dark off its longtime perch.

Twizzlers is another of my favorites left off the list.

And don’t get me started on the Twizzlers vs. Red Vines debate. I’ve always thought Red Vines taste like Play-Doh.

Yes! Best movie candy…evah! My son and I plow through a bag of those or Twizzlers every time we go to the theater.

Sour Patch definitely

Where’s the Rasinettes??!?!

Heath and Skor as I love toffee, but I eat the chocolate off them before eating the toffee. Then, Payday and Reese’s cup due to the salt, which is noticeable to me. Whatchamacalit for the rice crispies. The only chocolate bar I like is Mr. Goodbar, which I can recognize by taste. I never really liked chocolate.

As for what about? You forgot to lists the different Snickers. I prefer almond. Again, I separate it from the chocolate.

Aero bars. Love 'em. Don’t get 'em often enough.

Oh, which reminds me… there’s also Coffee Crisp, which, like Aero bars, are not always easy to find in the States.

Oh, yeah. I also love Cookie Dough Bites, even though I never eat them except at the movies.

Without York Peppermint Patties, Life is meaningless.

Since I work in a grocery store (kinda sorta) I was going through the new candies we are getting and saw that we are getting “cinnamon bun bites”, from the makers of cookie dough bites.

Looks like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are loved the most, followed by Snickers.

Thinking of this thread, I saw the Snickers Almond at the checkout counter and decided to grab a couple, as the first one I had was quite good, not to mention that I couldn’t find any marzipan outhouses at the supermarket…

Fat diabetic checking in…I like just about all of them except Twix, Reese’s Nutragious and Fastbreak, Baby Ruth and Payday. Of course I’m not supposed to eat any of them…

All of the above, plus Almond Snickers!

I really prefer Skor bars to Heath bars, but I voted for both, because they are both good. Skor bars just have better texture and flavor.
