What causes eye boogers?

Hello Everyone,

Had surgery two days ago so I’ve been a little under the weather. Last night I slept for about twelve hours straight and this morning I woke up with eyes full of eye boogers and eye crusties. Just curious as to what causes these things.

Here ya go.

Or did you want to discuss your eye boogers in more detail?

I was going to say dirty dreams.

Report if you must, but what kind of person raises their hand in class and says, “Ooh! Ooh! Teacher, that boy said something mean!”?

I mean, this isn’t like runner patting a spam OP. This is weird.

Mean we don’t necessarily report. Purposely useless we do.

I just did it so the moderator on duty wouldn’t get a hundred different reports of the same thing. Sorry.

Moderator Note

Given the fact that your post was clearly in violation of General Questions rules, it was likely we would have received a number of reports of it. HeyHomie’s post helped avoid that.

Also, due to the nature of your first post in this thread, I would be more diffident about accusing other people of grade-school behavior.

To go back to the OP, it’s your eyes cleaning out the garbage that lands in them. Dust and crap in the air, stuff coming through your tear ducts, bacteria, mucus, etc.
