What climate do you prefer to live in?

I could live quite happily with no winter. I think a daytime temp of 74° and a night time temp of 68° would make me very happy. I don’t need diversity when it comes to weather. I can’t think of any place that would fit that description.

I’m very happy with the weather of Western Washington. Perfect summer days in the 70s and low 80s, low humidity. Cool summer nights, and mild winters designed for sitting by a fire.

Folsom, California or thereabouts.

Which is where I live. YAY FOR ME!!!

I like it warm, I like being near water (sucks to be drought now :frowning: ) and a snowy winter can suck my ass.

Southern California, but with a lot more rain.

Mediterranean, in Spades.

I love Fall and Winter here, all 4 months of it. The other 8 are hot and humid, hoter and humid hurricane and hellish

I think that the climate of Orlando, FL sounds pretty good to me.

There are a few places in the world that have a ‘perpetual spring’ climate like that. Costa Rica has many micro-climates and one that exists higher up in the mountains of the Central Valley is the climate that you describe. Panama has some areas that are similar. Plenty of Americans live in those areas of both countries partially for that reason. If you get tired of the weather, you can just drive an hour down the mountains to get back to a tropical climate.

I live there, too, and agree. I’m sick of living in (what seems like an eternally) drought-stricken area.

I am very happy to live in an area with no seasonal temp fluctuations, and the only thing resembling season is rainy or dry season.

Screw winter!

This basically.

Actually Hawaii (the island, not the state) is known for its great diversity of microclimates. My choice is one of the warm sunny ones - knowing I can easily move to cool and misty, hot and arid, or whatever suits me for a particular day’s outing.

Me too, having spent 2 years on the original one and about 30 years in one of the US’s equivalents, though in sandals.

I grew up in Rhode Island and I miss the seasons. I’m not a huge fan of winter, so maybe somewhere slightly more mild. DC?

I live in South Florida now, and the winters here are delightful. I could easily be a snowbird. January-March in Florida. April-October up north to experience the spring and fall, and a usually-pleasant summer where the weather actually varies from week to week. Back down to FL for November, which is great down here. December in the northeast to get that one month of winter/Christmas cheer.

Why do so many people brag about living in Florida? You couldn’t pay me to live there.
I love mountains, fresh brisk air, a legitimate proper autumn season, summer in the mid-70’s, partly sunny and breezy, spring in the 50’s and 60’s and some snow in winter, but must reach a temperature above freezing daily so the snow is good for playing in and melts quickly, no ice storms with horrible wind chill factors and slick roads.

I like living in a climate with four seasons, but I hate summer. I’m in Kansas, smack dab in the middle of the country. If I had to move I’d go north, and hopefully summers wouldn’t be as hot.

A four-season climate with at least a 210-day growing season.

I love how some employers advertise a “four-season climate”, when the major seasonal attributes are snow, ice and mud.

Heat and more heat and as little seasonal fluctuation as I can get. I don’t mind cool nights and warm days but I’m a serious winter hater. I vacation in Las Vegas every year in August and my biggest complaint is the AC. It is a little hot for my 365 day preference but I’d still prefer it to winter.

Hawaii is pretty much ideal because when you want a different temperature you just wander off to a different elevation.

Unfortunately I live in Toronto where none of this is true.

It would be nice if I could live in tropical.
