What country would you most like to travel to?

Canada is one country I would really like to visit especially after seeing the Today show last week.

England or Greece. Both have many things which make me want to visit desperately.

The Quito-Guayaquil is in Ecuador. When I was there the track down the mountains had been destroyed, but it was open between Quito and Riobama.

There is a nice train ride from Cuzco to Aguas Calientes in Peru. It’s the train to Machu Pichu.

We spent a month in Kenya and Uganda. On one stint in the Masaai Mara, we were like "What’s that! What’s that! over there! Oh crap, it’s just another pride of lions devouring a wildebeast carcass.

Leopards and cheetahs become the prize. And lions actually making a kill is pretty damned cool. And I never ever got tired of giraffes.

That’s strange , plenty of people want to visit England , Ireland and even Wales but not many votes for Scotland. I wonder why ?

Scotland would have been on my list but I have already been there. I would love to go back.

I would love to go back to anywhere in Britain.

In no particular order:

Australia (trying again, would like to see Victoria and Western Australia)
Scotland
Ireland
England
United States

1.) Scandinavia*
2.) Switzerland
3.) The obligatory New Zealand
4.) Peru
5.) Germany

*Preferably in the summer.

Although I’m here already, I do need to add New Zealand to my list (hey! Cool! We’re popular!)

I need to see my own country. Especially areas like the South Island.

Likewise Ice I haven’t seen nearly enough of the South Island but I will leave that till I’m old and wrinkly. I really want to go overseas again.

Aye, anything in excess can be quite boring but still it real lions. As Richard Pryor put it, “Real lions, not the kind that you be fucking with at the zoo.”

:smack:
Well, now you see why I need to go, if only to find out for sure what country it’s in.

I’m pretty sure the Trans-Siberian line is still Russian

**Solomon islands **(good place to chill out)
Namibia (stable african country)
Syria (if I could go back in time 3 years - lovely people from what I have heard from other travellers)
**USA **(sounds a weird and interesting country)
Laos (then I will have collected the whole S.E.A. set)

Japan - I’m taking Japanese currently and wanna hear it first hand

Ireland - I should still have relatives there

England - always dreamed of going as a punk/goth in high school

also like to visit South America and Asia but don’t have specific countries in mind…

Wales
New Zealand
Spain
New Jersey

In no particular order…

  1. China

  2. South America (ok, so it’s a continent not a country. I want to travel around the continent for maybe a month or so… if I choose just a country then it would be Brazil. I have a friend from there who goes back for xmas every year. Might go along next year)

  3. Russia (almost went a few years back with a friend who goes back for the summer every year)

  4. USA (I grew up there, but have yet to see the west coast. When I do go I intend on taking a road trip from San Diego (or maybe Tiujuana (sp?) up to Vancouver)

  5. Africa (yet again, a continent… I’m not sure exactly where I want to go there. I suppose S.A. and Egypt are on the list. I would really like to spend an extended period of time there and travel around the continent)

…I guess, basically, I want to go everywhere I haven’t been yet. Done most of Europe (live there and travelled around by train 2 years ago), lived in the US but haven’t seen that much so want to go back, studying in NZ at the moment so got that one taken care of along with Australia… leaves a lot to see yet… good thing I’m still young.

Iceland
India
Ireland
Israel
Italy

I like I-Lands.

Australia. The more I hear about it, the more awesome it sounds. My parents visited for the first time last summer, and now they’re seriously considering moving there to retire. It sounds like a great place to just travel around in without having to worry about crime, prices are fairly low, lots of variety in the landscapes and all that.

Canada. Looks beauttiful and less crowded than tourist traps in America. Also not that far away.

Antarctica. A trip to Anarctica certainly gives you bragging rights for strangest destination versus almost anyone else. Looks really awesome, but I hear it gets cold down there.

Spain. I had a great chance to go in high school, with my class, and my stoopid parents forbade it.

India. Been there lots, but my SO has yet to see any other country except Canada and I really want him to see. Plus I miss my family so. But no point in going until we’re married.

England. I’d like to meet a handsome Englishman with a fine accent and have an affair with him. OK, OK, I love my SO and would never do such a thing but one can dream can’t they?

Africa doesn’t interest me. There are GIANT KILLER ANTS which EAT YOU ALIVE. You’ll just be standing there, and then CHOMP!

Well Africa is a big place. I don’t think those ants cover the whole continent. It is like saying I won’t go to America because I might get attacked by a bear.
