What did Jesus do during the Holidays?

As the book says, ‘he was born in the time of Herod.’ That would be around 54 AD.

So, of course, they were celebrating Herodmas.

FTR, there were a bunch of Herods, so ‘the time of Herod’ doesn’t really mean anything specific. Herod the Great lived about a generation before Jesus (he was a contemporary of Julius Caesar, who was his patron and puppet-master). Stupid trivia: he built Caesarea, which is now a cool arhcaeological site. His grandson, Herod Antipas is the Herod mentioned in the Gospels. Stupid trivia: He built the town of Tiberias (called Tiverya today). As you can tell by the place names, the rulers of Judea were pandering to Rome, so in actuality, they were probably celebrating Roman holidays.

Was it Caesaria where the first Caesarian Sections were performed?
