(well, actually, it was a couple weeks ago.)
but anyways, she was messing around with the keyboard. she hit something. ever since every vBulletin message board and certain other sites such as www.azlyrics.com but not all sites have like 125% font. i’ve hit like every key and nothing happens.
Do you have a wheel mouse? - try <ctrl>wheel
Wow! You learn something new about the mouse wheel every day.
<ctrl> wheel is a shortcut, by the way, for the view->text size in IE.
Cool! I never knew that either. How did you find out about that, Mangetout?
Geez, I manage to do that by accident constantly. Guess Microsoft doesn’t want you to combine keyboard shortcuts (like CTRL-W) with scrolling.
Stumbled on it by accident, but it is documented somewhere , I believe…
I’ve been getting a computer magazine every month for several years now that has tips like that but I’ve never seen that one. Thanks.
Might I suggest also getting a copy of that anti-cat software? If it works for cats, it should work for one-year olds.

What ever happened to hitting F1?
In IE, hit F1, input ‘font’ in the box & presto:
"To display Web page text larger or smaller
On the View menu, point to Text Size, and then click the size you want. "

Dontcha wish those guys at Windoze would tell us this stuff? Sheesh…
Anyway, I tried this, and on my machine Ctrl + WheelUp is making the font smaller, and ctrl +WheelDown makes it bigger.
Isn’t that odd? Shouldn’t it be the other way (presuming this should work at all)?

Hey, that’s neat. The way I (used) to adjust the size was View/Text Size and chose from Largest/Larger/Medium/Smaller/Smallest. (Win98SE)
