Oddly,I just asked him this same question in this thread, although he hasn’t answered yet. I wonder what he’s hiding. How about some answers, Mr. “thinksnow?” If that is your real name!
Wait a minute…

Yeah, me too. Then I started reading it as “ray-SEEN-chikki,” as if she was from a certain city in Wisconsin. It wasn’t until I read that she worked in a store that sells racing merchandise that I finally got it.
I’ve always read “sealemon” as a bastardization of Soolaimon (sp?), the Niel Diamond song. In fact, I always starts singing it after seing Sealemon’s post.
I’ll think of more…
dantheman, if it helps, this Dan guy was incredibly sweet. I don’t think the hot tub thing was much like him, either.
You, sir, suck. Don’t you know I have to go out in public today? Now I’m going to be walking through the library and grocery store singing Tabithina, where the wind goes rushing down the plain…. Of course, it won’t quite fit so I will sound even more foolish. Thanks. Really, I mean that.
Well, I suppose it’s better than This is the song that never ends.
Not to name any names specifically, but anytime I see someone who has “68” as part of their name, I remember George Carlin’s line from his “incomplete list of impolite words”:
Whenever I see the name KKBattousai I think of alien testicle theft, and then I get a sudden craving for olives.
:o
Dooku’s name makes me think of my ex-BF-- my ex’s nickname is similar.
AudreyK’s name always reminds me of a certain movie…
However, if I name it, she’ll kill me. So I’ll have to think about naming it or not.
You know what’s really bad? I get my own name screwy! When people call me “racin” in chat, I think Racine - pronounced rah-SEEN - which was my name in French class five years ago, and has nothing to do with my username at all! How’s that for sad?
AudreyK makes me think of Audrey Hepburn. Then “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” which I’ve never seen, but I think Hepburn’s in it. Which then makes me think of the Deep Blue Something song named after the movie.
KneadToKnow makes me think of an old episode of Gumby I used to love as a child, where Gumby and Pokey go into the oven and find this factory place where a little dough-man makes all the baked goods, and they end up being baked into a jelly roll and a pie, respectively, but before they get baked into a pie they see these big machines that knead the dough, and the dough-man says “This machine kneads the dough!” And Pokey is all confused and says “Wait a minute, the dough needs the dough?” And Gumby laughs and says “No, the machine KNEADS the dough!” And as a child I was amused. And now I’m just bemused.
Lsura inexplicably reminds me of the Hyundai Elantra. Go figure.
DON’T DO IT, ROB! I think I know which movie you mean, and I like having you around too much for you to commit suicide that way!
Aww, don’t worry, TroubleAgain! I’ll let our dear friend rob live.
[sub]For now.[/sub]
Hey, racinchikki, thanks for posting that. See, I have the mp3 for the “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” song, but for the longest time I couldn’t remember who it was performed by. I found the song under “Matchbox Twenty”, which I knew wasn’t right. Mystery’s now solved. Thank you.
Oh, don’t worry, TroubleAgain, I was just referring to… rob notices the “for now”
Umm…thinks fast
“Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” yes, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” Audrey Hepburn and all, that’s the movie I think of, all right.
whew For a second there I almost said "Li…kidding! I wouldn’t say it. Plus, I don’t think that when I see AudreyK’s name. I think of what a wonderful person she is.
Hmm…I wonder how much pain she’ll inflict on me for uttering the first two letters…
I can’t believe I got mentioned. Thanks, racinchikki! You made my day!
First person to mention me gets smacked upside the head.
The first time I saw your name, I thought yick! Why would anyone choose such a name?
Then at some point you explained you work with bacterial cultures, so now I understand why you picked it.
But I still think yick!
You know, until recently, I thought Sealemon88’s name was “Seale Mon”; you know, something Jamaican!
The hot tub thing works for me, though. I’ll get my trunks!
I haven’t seen her post for so long, but I still remember, “PurpleCrackWhore and I don’t care…”
If it makes you feel better, your name makes me think of the show Red Dwarf.
hardygrrl always makes me thing “You party hardy girl!”…wonder why.
And even the newbies are aware of my board rep…
