What do they do with chicken skin?

I’ll note that poultry by-product may be fed to chickens, but I’m not sure. It was banned for livestock use in the EU in 2002. More likely the byproduct (skin too?) goes into pet food rather than chicken food.

My husband hates chicken skin too - to the point that on the rare occasions I get fried chicken from the chicken shack down the street, he’ll peel the crispy fried part off and just eat the meat.

Great art imitates life-

Whether I eat the skin depends on what I’m making with the chicken.

When I had my semi-foster cat, I would sometimes give him bits of skin and other fatty goodies that I wouldn’t eat, because I knew he would.

Ry Cooder once recorded an album called Chicken Skin Music, so he’s apparently a big fan. Maybe they just throw it all in a bucket for him to swing by later and pick up.

So I went to the international market today, and I discovered these. Interestingly, they’re an American product.
