*You *left out a possibility – know, don’t care.

I’ve bneen interested in the assassination nearly all my life – it’s one of the first news stories I remember – but I simply do not know.
Read “JFK: Why he died and why it matters”. it quotes many documents that have come to light recently. Makes a persuasive case that JFK was murdered because he had not supported Bay of Pigs invasion, refused to nuke Cuba, was talking to Kruschev about ending the Cold War and abolishing nuclear weapons, had begun withdrawing troops from Vietnam… In other words he was seen as a traitor by the military-industrial complex and therefore had to go. He documents that Oswald was seen (at the time the motorcade approached Dealey Plaza) away from the window from which he was supposed to shoot and that he was a CIA agent who was sent to Moscow as a double agent. He proves that JFK was shot from the front and there were two people (one with a rifle) who had Secret Service ID on the grassy knoll. Ruby was part of the conspiracy.
Ha Ha!! Not hardly!!!
No way Jose Jackmanni! Woodward and Bernstein were no way at all in the same class of integrity of a Dorothoy Killgalen. None of the accolades attributed to Dorothy Killgalen will ever go to Woodward or Bernstein .
Woodward and Bernstien were simply a couple of hack reporters who allowed themselves become patsies (a couple of “dupes” if you will) in a plot masterminded by Mark Felt to overthrow the Presidency of the United States.
1.First of all, Dorothy Killgalen would never ever allow herself to become a part of a plot to overthrow the Presidency of the United States.
- Secondly, there is absolutely NO WAY!!! in Hates that Woodward or Bernstein would ever be allowed in to interview Jack Ruby privately, those 2 would not even be allowed to think of doing such a scoop.
Bottom line: Dorothy was undeniably the only journalist to ever interview Jack Ruby alone, and Dorothy stated that she was ready to make public the information which would blow the entire assassination story.
Actually, I voted that way myself. I don’t have a problem believing that the man talked some smack with like-minded buddies, then did the deed by himself. I can see their reaction…
“Oh, man! I didn’t think you’d actually do it, Lee! WTF?”
Dorothy Killgallen was a stumbling drunk/pill addict towards the end of her life with a fondness for tall tales. She also claimed that she had information that would prove that Earth was being invaded by UFOs from outer space.
The only source for her “private interview” with Jack Ruby is her biographer, who had many outlandish assertions in his biography of her. This is vigorously denied by the judge, attorneys, and everyone else who would have needed to give permission for such an interview.
It is very strange that Ruby would give the “real scoop” to her when he said nothing to the sort to his family, lawyer, psychiatrists, or anyone else.
It is also very strange that all her writings were just repeating conspiracy factoids by other conspiracy hacks, most notably paid KGB dissinformation Mark Lane. There is not a mention of any new information, much less anything that would “blow the top off the assassination”. It is true that she somehow obtained Ruby’s testimony to the Warren Commission before it was publically released.
This is all just another fiction of the conspiracy press.
Oswald acted alone, although I feel there is an outside chance that he was somehow guided or manipulated by Cuban intellligence retaliating for plots against Castro.
And Ruby was just a lone nut.
Don’t flame me for throwing out something half-remembered without researching it, but . . . isn’t that more or less what happened with James Earl Ray and MLK?
Probably less.
As to Ruby, I think it’s instructive to see how many threats Casey Anthony has been receiving over the death of her daughter. It doesn’t surprise me at all that a lone nut would similarly carry out an act of vengeance against someone accused of killing the President.
Yes…it is very strange, very strange indeed.:eek::smack:
After all this time, it’s even stranger that there is no love in the poll for the idea that an ancient secret society was responsible for bumping off JFK.
Wasn’t Mark Felt a Mason?
Patsy. Exactly. Read JFK and the Unspeakable
You’re joking, right?
The consensus towards a Lone Nut here is very much to be expected. Forums where people tend to focus on the facts always skew heavily toward Oswald acted alone.
Forums where people are more driven by fantasies, rumours and writers like Douglass.
Since Douglass has already been referred to twice as the definitive source, here is a review pointing out some of the many problems with his work.
