What do you get with an In n Out sticker?

It’s not a bumper sticker. It’s the little “In n Out” sticker on the upper left hand corner (drivers side) windshild or back window.
And it seems like they pop up in places they shouldn’t be, like in Texas where there is no In n Out Burger. So what’s the Straight Dope? Do you get something extra of displaying that sticker?

Nothing that I’m aware of.

Have you ever HAD In-N-Out?

It is of the quality that engenders such loyalty.

Kinda like crack in that regard.

MmmMmmmm. I lived in Oxnard, CA for a spell and couldn’t get enough of In-N-Out (a reasonable substitute for my native Texas Whataburger). They used to have a great double entendre sticker back then that read, “I’ve Got the In-N-Out URGE!”

Am I the only one who thinks that’s a horrible name for a burger joint? It evokes some really unpleasant imagery of a digestive sort.

eta: and that sticker slogan isn’t helping.

Are you sure you remember that correctly? I recall people cutting the Bs and Rs out of their bumper stickers, but I don’t think this was encouraged by the chain’s owners (who had “John 3:16” printed on the bottoms of their drink cups).

Fat.
