What do you like to add to your bath?

There may be a connection, but I’ve taken lots and lots of bubble baths, and I’ve never had a UTI in my entire life (I’ve had 1 bladder infection, but I believe that’s a different animal, and it was definitely due to not drinking enough water when I was very very busy at work), so I don’t think I have to worry.

Urine, mostly.

I like several naked, comely slavegirls to anoint me with oil, then cleanse the oils from me with strigils, then get in the bath with me and play find-the-submarine.

However, I am married so mostly I take showers.

Toasters.

LOL at Phnord.

Obviously Lavender, but Geranium and Orange essential oils are great to lift a mood.

Add a slug of Fenjal to keep your skin soft.

Best home made scrub: a handful of coarse sea salt mixed with good olive oil. It’s a gazillion times better than loads of the expensive exfoliators in tubes, and when you climb out of the tub your skin will feel like you’re 15 again and been rubbed down by an army of geishas.

I’m surprised to see I’m the only one who adds baking soda to the tub. My doctor advised it because of my ridiculously sensitive skin (I can’t use soap with fragrances, so I’m not sure if essential oils would mess me up too: anyone know?). Anyway, the baking soda soothes the skin and makes it feel nice and soft.

I’d like to add Alexander Popov to my bath. Other than that, I usually add scented bath bombs.

The entire repetoire of Lush bath products.

Not all at once, though that is nice to think about!
