Don’t I get a say in this? :dubious:
Lime Koolade with strips of balogna floating on top.
I’m just kidding. I heard that on MAS*H.
This sounds awful, but I learned to love it as a kid and it does wonders for a sore throat: hot jello
There is also a chloroseptic spray which numbs the back of the throat which is great, but it doesn’t provide any nourishment.
I’m recovering from pneumonia, but it didn’t have a chance to get bad at all. We caught it early on some x-rays made for arthritis in my ribs. I love being old with its “one stop shopping” at the doctor’s office.
When I’m sick with some tummy trouble, I like ginger ale and saltines. It took me years to drink ginger ale as a normal drink, since I’d only drunk it when I was sick since I was a child. When I have a cold or sinus troubles, as I often do, I like hot tea with honey, and chips with salsa, as long as the tissues are very close by. I also like the weird mintiness of liquid adult Tylenol.
I crave orange juice (with calcium and vitamin D added and some/light pulp, if you must know) and my Mommy always used to make me tomato or potato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches when I was sick. I seem to recall her making Egg Drop soup when my Daddy felt ill, which is odd because I don’t remember ever having any other asian dishes until well after I moved out. Oh well, Mom works in mysterious ways.
