I’m always amused when something is available in 48 or 49 states with North Dakota not included. It’s like people have this perception that North Dakota is all wheat fields with a population smaller than that of most major cities … oh, wait…

I think New Mexico should take the North Dakota approach and consider renaming the state (which was talked about here, but not really seriously considered). My suggestion for NM would be “The Southwestern East Indies of the West”.

Yes, deepbluesea, I am very familiar with it. Growing up in Santa Fe, I can vouch for many of the occurrences. But I hadn’t run into anything like this for quite a while, and it was just too much. :eek:

Yeah. But It’s not something I need drastically, and they had a good price. So I figured, what the hell. If I don’t have it in a few days, I can always take care of it with Visa if the company doesn’t make good. And the BBB is always happy to hear from people in instances like this.

This really is incredible. The dumbest of the dumb I know still know that New Mexico is a State!

IMO, anyone who does not know NM is a State, or that Canada is NOT a State, should have their right to vote immediately and permanently removed, as they are obviously too ignorant or too stupid to be trusted with Decisions On Important Issues. But then, that’s just IMO.
