My RV, and behind that the neighbor’s garage wall. Quite a change from our place in Anchorage, where I saw birch and spruce trees, a large dappled green space, birds, squirrels and the occasional moose and calves. Between that view and the one of the Chugach Mountains out the front windows, I really miss that place.
The west window shows our back yard, with the shed, an antiques fire hydrant, the patio, two huge dogwood trees, the grape arbor and a bit of our two neighbors yards.
The north window is never uncovered, if it were, it looks into the next door neighbor’s kitichen.
The stairs leading up to the 2nd floor deck (and sometimes the neighbors on them), the end of the parking lot if I lean out, but mostly the back of the luxury apartment building across the street. Each has a balcony and large glass doors and windows. It’s very Rear Window at night.
A panoramic lake view much like my profile picture…
The mossy roof of our shed, a large tree, a Japanese maple, hibiscus and ivy covered wooden fence, then the next door neighbor’s lovely landscaped yard and shimmery pool.
Yard grass, trees, neighbour’s place, lots more trees, edge of a neighbourhood road, sometimes that rabbit family, birds, sky (with or without clouds), my wife sometimes, etc…
South window: The small patio, my grill, side of the garage, back side of the breezeway, area behind the garage (rocks and weeds) and a tall fence. If I look out to the left, I can see through the breezeway into the front driveway and a little bit of front yard.
West window: My neighbor’s driveway, garage, side of their house, their back yard and the back yard of the next few houses down the block. I rarely open the curtains on this window, as the driveway is only about 4’ away from my window, and when they park in front of their garage they can look directly into my room.
Scraggly guy in a dirty trench-coat with his nose on the glass.
The house next door.
I see a grassed public green with various broad-leafed trees including maple, ash, lime, plum, cherry and rowan.
To the right, I can see the large oak tree in the side garden of my house - the bedroom is on the second floor (that’s the third floor if you’re American), so the windows are level with the leaves and branches - we get a lot of wildlife visiting the oak tree - woodpeckers, tree creepers and many other species of birds.
My neighbor lady sunbathing topless?
Nothing exciting here. I have a pine tree in the back yard and some holly bushes I planted. The holly is pretty when they have their red berries. I can see them from my bedroom window.
Front window: The bush in front of the window.
Side window: The hallway and the apartment across the hall.
We keep the windows closed
My view right now. Glorious, no?
The wetland on the property (size of a small public pool) and the woods behind it.
Side window - the driveway, some small scruffy trees and the second floor of my neighbor’s house. I use to see huge white pines too, but we had them all cut down last week, so now I also see a whole lot more sunshine.
Back window - yard & trees in the summer, yard & neighbor’s house in the winter when the trees are bare.
Window 1. My front yard, the street, cars and houses.
Window 2. My neighbors house, their front door specifically, which is annoying because they leave a light there on all night and it really brights up my room and blinds me when I wake up to go to the bathroom.
Ditto. But not the same spot as QtM. Trees and a road on the other side.
As I was saying, this.
I also have double glass doors, but I’m a ground floor and they open to a retention pond surrounded by apartment buildings.
I think there’s also a small concrete patio but I’m not sure since in the 6 years I’ve lived here I haven’t opened the blinds.
