I second the comment that it’s Lynn’s forum and what she wants, goes.

I also second that maybe it might have had a teeny bit of something to do with who originally posted it.

However, I guess that it is okay to start a Pit thread asking people to flame you personally. We have had that happen a couple of times and no one has said anything**. I guess it is the invite to flame others that caused the problem.

Now, according to the new information, you can start a thread asking everyone to flame you!!

I deny all charges. That thread was meant for constructive criticism. Like telling a fellow poster to stop hitting the enter key after every sentence, for example. I did my very best to avoid flame fests on my or anyone elses behalf. I succeeded. I got called a pompous ass for starting the thread, but that’s another thing.

Yes, but it would not have worked if it were not handled in a light-hearted way, with both flamer and flamee understanding the ground rules.
