I work from home. They supplied laptop, mouse and headphones.
I’m also supporting normalizing working from home, with employer supported resources. Employees shouldn’t have to provide anything or risk their privacy for this.
You should be allowed to work from home. You should have suitable equipment to do that work.
My current employer recognizes this (though I’m also geographically remote) and I have a laptop, docking station, mouse,headset, two additional screens and can expense office supplies. As it should be.
I have gotten several proposals.
On each occasion, I was buying a lottery ticket. The proposals were were all conditional on winning the jackpot.
Single / never been married women who live alone and happen to own cats. It’s normalized in the sense that it happens all the time, but perhaps we can do without “crazy cat lady” stigma.
