Elaborating on An Gadaí’s response, several sports fan groups have been linked to fascist ideology - some even have references to fascism in the name; in some cases, opposing groups which are fans of the same sports clubs are born specifically to oppose the first ones, either pacifically or not. Sports fan clubs can be dangerous waters to thread, because any which are linked to a sports ideology as well as a club are likely to be passionate about it - in the best case scenario this leads to having to put up with long-winded speeches, in the worst case to waking up in the ICU.
