Do you mean the Cary Grant character in The Philadelphia Story or our own cute ‘n’ cuddly Dex
The name is that of Cary Grant’s character in Philadelphia Story, 1940. Grant played Katherine Hepburn’s playboy husband. I don’t recall that it was ever made clear in the film what the initials stood for, so possibly the answer is – no one knows.
If you mean the moderator, it may be correct to say that no one knows except C. K. Dexter Haven.
It stands for “CK Knows.”

Obviously, it stands for “Calvin Klein”. He’s a corporate-sponsored mod. 
It’s actually a fairly common name, I’ve seen it around. Some science fiction/fantasy writer has acknowledged a “C K Dexter Haven” on his website, and I got confused with that one once. Or twice.
No, it doesn’t stand for “Calvin Klein”, and I’m gonna write down Greywolf’s name in my little book, then draw a line through it.
So any idea what it does stand for? Surely the guy who made it his own nick must have SOME idea? :eek:
