What does this Greek word mean?

The other day I was intrigued by a bumper sticker with a Greek word and an Irish Shamrock.

The word was, “ΠΑΝΑΘΗΑΙΚΟΣ”, which I believe is pronounced “Panathenaikos”, but what does it mean…and why the greek-irish connection?
