What does this vanity tag mean?

On a Kia soul

“bless my”

Oh

But my fave is:

“B F Deal” on a cool porshe or sumt 10-15 years ago

“IMLATE”

White VW Rabbit.

Driver was a young woman.

“TATANKA”

White Toyota Minivan (pre-Sienna, very rounded body). Seen not long after the release of “Dances With Wolves.”

Both seen in Tulsa, OK.

Not cutesy or mysterious, this was a real straight shooter I saw yesterday: IM NORSE

Sometimes you can read too much into the plates.

Couple of years ago 2 women were talking near me about a car they had just seen when they popped down the street and how shocking it was.

Apparently it was a sports car, and a black or dark skinned female was driving it. The licence plate was BLKSLT. They were revving each other up, why would she get that as her plates? They were scandalised.

So I said to them, Ummmm, this sports car wouldn’t have been a Mercedes would it? Yes they replied. Was it a black mercedes. yes they snapped back obviously thinking where was I going with this stupid question.

So I quickly jumped on Google and called up an image and said, It wouldn’t be like this, a Black Mercedes SLT? Puzzled, they both said Yes, then I could actually see the penny drop in their minds. Ohhhhhhhhhh.

:smack:

That or they’re calling for America to withdraw from the United Nations.

3MTA3
until the censors caught up with it
then I saw

I still want to get a Mazda and have a plate like DAEVA or MITHRA. Just because I’m way too easily amused.

The sentiment of the discussion, that spans over 2 days, is negative. The discussion is very engaging and very controversial. The user KneadToKnow, was very engaged. It got people interested in the discussion. We find the discussion interesting and original.

ENOUGH CONTROVERSY!

(I’m not a football fan) What is the deal with “pigskin touchdowns” that would make someone want to choose it as their vanity plate?

In my opinion, nothing. And I am a football fan. I personally doubt if that’s what the owner was going for…it’s not really something anyone would ever say or use in any other context, just two random football terms put together.

??

Viewed in the mirror.

That reminds me of this story.

In NYS, spaces are allowed as one or more of eight permitted characters. Had the plate been ILV TOFU, it might have gotten through? Conversely, the aforementioned 3MTA3 would have been busted even quicker.

That was me, back in the mid-70s. There was probably one of us in each state.

People ask me about my vanity plate from time to time. They wonder if I prefer Tom Baker, or maybe David Tennant. They seem to be disappointed when I tell them that “Like Who” refers to my favorite rock band (that’s why it says “Maximum R&B” on the plate frame).
