What does 'Two/Three Buck Chuck' mean to you?

To me, two (three, four or five) buck chuck would be a really cheap bottle of wine (probably Passion Pop). It’s all there in the name - a really cheap bottle of wine for guzzling until you spew.

I think the kids these days tend to prefer the bulk quantity of goon for their blackout drinking sessions. But cask of goon or bottle of two buck chuck: either way, someone is riding the porcelain bus tonight.

You’re going to have explain ‘goon’ now you know. :smiley:

Thanks to Aspidistra for getting started on the vomit synonyms. It is a very long list.

Goon = cask wine :slight_smile:

To the best of my knowledge, Two Buck Chuck was not made by Bronco. Bronco had purchased large quantities of bulk wine, already produced, by the tanker truck load and had it shipped to his bottling facilities. He reputedly had several million bottles made.

My In-Laws, who are in Topeka, live off of the stuff. My MIL refers to it as Two-Buck Chuck, though I do believe the price has surpassed $ 1.99 :smiley:
