What fictions have you all found and thank this Board for?

(Yeah, I keep pimping out my favorites - Kristin Lavransdatter novels, et. al - in hopes someone else will appreciate them too. It’s a small way to repay for all the great recommendations I’ve gotten here.)

I just picked up some science fiction anthologies based on reccomendations on here: The Hugo Winners Vols. 1 & 2, 50 Short Science Fiction Tales, and The Science Fiction Hall of Fame Vol. 1.

Also, I never would have watched the movie Stardust - a fantastic movie - if I hadn’t read such good things about it here. Nor would I have watched the tv series Rome or started watching Dexter.

A couple of people recommended “The Dollmaker,” and I really had a hard time with it. The story was pretty good, but the poor attempts to get the accent down (I thought) just really made it tough
